Computer Login Procedures

This will be your guide to follow if you are struggling with a login issue for any Windows device.

  1. Power on your device.
  2. Once the login screen loads, enter your credentials. These commonly referred to as either computer credentials or NT (network) credentials. 
  3. If you are receiving the error of incorrect user name or password, please verify caps lock is off and try again. 
    1. If your are certain your are typing in your credentials correctly and are still unable to login please submit a helpdesk ticket.
    2. If you are receiving the error that your domain is not available, verify your device is connected to the network. 
      1. For laptops verify your device is connected to the staff Wi-Fi by navigating to the bottom right of the screen. You will either see a globe or the Wi-Fi symbol. Click on said symbol and verify connection.
      2. For desktops verify your ethernet cable is connected to the back of your device.
    3. At any time if the above is not working please submit a helpdesk ticket and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
